“I Launched D’Banj’s Career, Not Don Jazzy” – OJB Jezreel

Speaking on Sunday during a thanksgiving service in Lagos to celebrate his successful kidney treatment, the beat maker of 2Face’s ‘African Queen’ hit single lamented further that he, not Don Jazzy, made D’Banj as generally believed.
In his words, “quote me, we launched D’Banj’s music career and not Don Jazzy. D’Banj is my boy. He was always in my studio. Ask him when you see him and he won’t deny this. I knew about how he went to JJC in London. I also launched JJC. I don’t see the need to continue to celebrate him because he didn’t do anything to help me when the chips were down.”
You will recall that during the ‘Save OJB Jezreel’ campaign championed by Nomoreloss, which was aimed at raising fund for OJB’s kidney treatment in India, there were reports that D’Banj donated an amount of money for the cause which OJB vehemently denied and implied that D’banj used his ordeal as a publicity stunt for the latter’s music career – an allegation D’banj neither accepted or denied!

Today’s Nollywood is in a disgraceful state..it’s sickening “-Clarion Chukuwrah

Veteran actress & mother of star director Clarence Peters spoke to Vanguard about her disappointment with today’s Nollywood

“It hasn’t improved at all. It is now a proverbial ‘ state’ that makes one to weep. Everything has fallen to a disgraceful state. No standards are left. I was on a location in Enugu last month and the production manager was insulting the director of photographer. I was shocked.
The producer and the director were shouting at each other. I could not imagine it. The artistic director would just walk away and actors are not directed on what to do.  Any green horn could hit the set and believe that she could sleep her way to the top. She is pretty and sleeps with the Executive Producer. It’s just sickening. And they say to you, this movie is meant for the market and the cinema. It is not for film festival, just do it anyhow because this is for inside the market. That goes to show there are no standards. It is pathetic.”

Are you not thinking of marriage
Give me a break. Please don’t ask.Don’t go there. Please spare me

An Open Letter To Our National Failure @beverly_Osu

I never at any point in my life thought I would be wasting my precious time trying to pass a message to a near failure like Beverly Osu, for me she has successfully ranked her name among failed politicians and embarrassing public figures hence earning her the infamous title “National Failure”…an epic one for that matter.
I probably would have given her thoughts a befitting burial buh for her stupid comments on an interview where she said “Nigerians ruined her relationship with Angelo” lol what nonsense! What’s this gold digging slut trying to achieve? What relationship is she talking about? How else was it supposed to be obvious to this dumb brat that she was forcing herself on a senior uncle who was just enjoying freebies?
Every celebrity has a way of trying to stay in the news, successful ones do it by introducing ground breaking jobs while hopeless ones like Beverly do it by stirring controversies, has she forgotten how she went from pillars to posts to deny having sex with the dread locked South African in the BBA house only to admit later? I’m sure she must have seen her sex videos on people’s phones all over everywhere lol how are we supposed to take Beverly serious?

She single handedly footed the bills of Angelo’s recent visit to Nigeria where the dude was seen frolicking with finer babes and the heartbroken Beverly had the guts to put the blames on innocent Nigerians who had already forgotten she ever existed. Don’t even vex me abeg

Comedian “I go Die” Becomes UN Millennium Ambassador! *GETS CUSTOMIZED CAR NUMBER PLATE FROM THEM*

The Comedian has been named a United Nations Millenium Development Goals (MDG) ambassador…
The honour is in recognition of the impact I Go Dye has in the society through his profession. He was given the mandate to continue to facilitate the realization of the United Nations’ MDGs.
I Go Dye, has been committed to philanthropic gestures and also advocating for a non-violence approach among youths in Africa, inspiring and advocating them for good leadership towards eradicating poverty.
Speaking on the development, I Go Dye said;
“I feel honoured by this, but it will be more gratifying to me, when I will see our leaders create more opportunities for the youths and making effort to gainfully employ them. As at today, millions of Africans are suffering and faced with uncertainty. The future seems vague and no hope in sight.

“Until this personal desire for a better Africa is achieved; my heart knows no profound happiness because someone is still sleeping without a meal.

“But this recognition shows that my work is not in vein. I thank God for giving me this talent that is inspiring others and also to my fans all over the world who have been supporting me with their prayers and love. Without you, all these achievements won’t have been possible. May God Bless you all.”

The United Nation Millennium Development Goal Ambassador honour came with a customized vehicle number plate: MDG AMB 7K, an international identification card and an honorary plaque.

Online Celebrity Black Gay Couples Taking Care Of Their Daughters Sparks Hate Comments (Photos)

You remember the last time, a straight dad posted pictures of himself taking care of his adorable daughters and he was blasted for that. Well, two gay dads decided to do same, their picture went viral and once again, hell was let loose.
Power couple Kordale, of Chicago, and Kaleb, of Atlanta, are two gay black dads who obviously love their two daughters and son very much and they decided to show off their happy family by sharing this picture above on Instagram & Twitter.
Unfortunately, while some people saw an adorable daddies-daughters moment, others chose to blast them with homophobic and racist comments.
The hateful comments which have all been deleted were so bad that Kordale and Kaleb had to release a statement to defend themselves:
As far as the positive; yes we are two gay men with three kids who have no problem with preparing them for their education every morning. Our kids are blessed to have three parents (Kordale, Kaleb and their Mother) who love, care and support them in every decision they have made and will continue to make as they get older. In regard to the negative, people fail to realize that we are people too with kids who love us. We do what is necessary for them to succeed in this ever-changing world but it’s sad that we’re discriminated against because of our sexuality and/or what we do behind closed doors — which is no one’s business In the same breath, we take all of what’s been said in stride. The picture was put out on social media for an opinion so we can’t be mad when people give just that: an opinion. People tend to think that gay people cannot raise their children to be heterosexuals. Instead, they have derogatory thoughts of us “tainting” our children or “confusing them” with what society sees deems as wrong an unmanly because we’re gay.
But this is all comical because people forget where a lot of gays come from: a heterosexual household.
More pictures of the happy family:
